At Terpsichore, we believe that we are more that just a studio or teachers - we are part of the Monroe- Woodbury Community. We feel that Dance is more than just technique. We feel that our students are part of our larger family.
Here are a few community events that we participate in..
Monroe's Annual Cheese Festival
Terpsichore participates in the Village of Monroe's Annual Cheese Festival. This year there will be a Community Day held on Saturday, September 12th. Our Studio will be open to observe classes, and we will have demonstration classes open to all. See More...

Tap, Ballet, & Jazz
Terpsichore was established in the summer of 1979. Classes were held in the Knights of Columbus in Monroe. That autumn, classes were moved to the Grace Episcopal Church. Two years later we expanded to a second location at the Monroe Methodist Church. In 1990, we moved to Route 17M in Harriman
In 2012, Terpsichore moved to our new home at 74 Millpond Parkway, centrally located in the heart of the village of Monroe. We have 3 large studios with state-of-the-art sprung dance floors and a smaller practice studio. We have a large waiting room and office.
