Due to past safety concerns on the part of both MWHS and Terpsichore, we have implemented
the following guidelines for our recital.  For everyone’s convenience, there will be one intermission during our show. In the past, there has been too much confusion in the audience with the retrieval of children from the cafeteria being taken into the auditorium during the show and therefore, will no longer be permitted.
We are excited to announce that we will again be having a studio wide finale this year which
ALL DANCERS are invited to participate in. Our youngest dancers will be walked out on stage by
their teacher for a final bow and placed at the front of the stage. Our older dancers will also be
walked out on stage for a final bow. Again, EVERY dancer is invited to participate.

At Terpsichore, we have an annual spring recital. Our recital shows our parents, friends, and community what we have learned during the year. It teaches our students about poise and confidence of presenting themselves in front of others. These qualities will last a lifetime and are valuable experience.
Each year we hold are recital on the weekend after Memorial Day.  This year it will be held on Sunday, June 2nd, with dress rehearsal on Saturday, June 1st and both will be at the Monroe-Woodbury High School.  The theme of this year’s show is “Do You Remember?” . Our 40th Anniversary Celebration.

2018 Recital

Important Recital Info

The first two shows will be at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.  All regular classes will be split between these shows.  Advanced classes will perform in both shows as will our opening and closing number.
We will again attempt to place families with siblings in the same show but as the school has grown through the years, this has become extremely difficult.  The situation becomes much harder when there are several siblings or if each sibling is dancing multiple times.  Unfortunately, not all families will be in the same show.  We ask for your understanding and cooperation as we try our best to accommodate as many families as possible.  We look forward to another exciting end of the year show!  More information will be distributed in the spring.
